LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Residential Field Player Camp - Rice University
The residential camp for field players will focus on four principles of a complete player: physical, psychological, technical and tactical. The program will be intense, but will foster learning through a fun, competitive environment. Players begin each day with strength and agility exercises and then a technical session. After lunch, players will return to the field for our tactical session and small sided games. Each evening, competitive matches will be played, giving coaches the opportunity to observe the players understanding of the topics covered that day. Our staff will be comprised of only the top college, ODP and club coaches available. This camp is open to any and all boys and girls ages 12-18. **Please note that graduating high school seniors are now allowed to participate in summer camps where collegiate coaches are on staff. Day hikes in the canyon, a trip to Big Timber Waterslides, and paintball are included. Jr. Teen Camp July 18-23 Buffalo Canyon Campout Boys & Girls entering grades 7-9 Cost: Pre-registered by July 11 $155 After July 11 $170 Check-in time: 10am-12pm, Monday, July 18 Registrations available at www.lewtana.com Camp out in Buffalo Canyon for 3 days and 2 nights. Bible classes will take place in the canyon. Additional items to bring: warm clothing, good hiking shoes, a flashlight, and a small backpack. Camp ends with a program on Saturday at 1:30. Parents are encouraged to attend the program, as there are awards given out and a slide show of pictures from the week.

This program is designed so that students can be ACTIVE and learn about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up and stretch. We rotate through agility stations and drills. Each unit of study includes sport specific drills and games. Including rules of the game, strategy and the fundamentals required to play. Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Learn about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and how animals eat. Play games, make a craft, and even a few snacks of your own as you will definitely work up an appetite!
