Kids will love spending this beautiful Fall day in the mountains of Nederland, outside of Boulder and Denver. Artwork may include paper mache, mobiles, sculptures from natural and recycled materials, mosaics, painting in the style of famous artists, collage and lots more! Play lots of games, sports and explore the park. On Wed campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. Bring a bag lunch. There will be a $25 dollar material fee due the first day. Our day camp activities include Horseback Riding, Games on Horseback, Horsemanship Grooming, saddling, Vaulting and more! Beginners are welcome! Horse day camp is for beginner riders as well as advanced riders. Lunch is included. What to wear: long pants, light color t-shirt and boots. We provide riding helmets. What to bring: Stretchable pants, sunscreen, swim socks, carrots (for the horses), snacks, drinks, and a bottle of water (frozen is best). Please put the camper?s names on all items. Gymnasts will work on skills using the beam, bars and springboard. Gymnasts will learn forward and backward rolls, bridges, handstands and cartwheels. This introduction to basic gymnastics is both fun and rewarding. Parents please provide snacks for your child, as we will be breaking daily for a snack.
