3rd Annual Send A Kid to Camp Fundraiser - New York, NY
Join us for an open bar, music, mingling, and an exciting raffle. All proceeds support Hudson Guild’s free summer camp for kids in need. $50 in advance (through June 2), $60 at the door Hudson Guild is a community-based social services organization rooted in and primarily focused in Chelsea. Each year, Hudson Guild provides a wide range of services, from early childhood education to programs for seniors, including PreK, afterschool, teen services, mental health care, and both visual and performing arts – for over 14,000 underprivileged members of our community. Hudson Guild provides a stable “home away from home” for learning and development, and a safety net for people in economic distress.

Teen Horse Day Camp - Stewart, TN
Legend Acres summer camp sessions give horse loving boys and girls the opportunity to spend plenty of time with these wonderful animals. Campers are divided into groups, based on their ability, to provide riders with activities appropriate to their skill levels. In addition, campers take part in the daily grooming, tacking up and care of the horse or pony assigned to them. Campers also participate in activities that promote good horsemanship as well as arts and crafts , snacks and lunch included. We offer three summer camp programs, based on age. The first program is our Kiddie Camp, which is a wonderful experience for children ages 4-7. The camp runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and is $375.00 for the week. Youth Camp, for ages 8 -11 runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm and is $375.00 per week. We look forward to seeing you at camp!! Futuristic Dream Houses - The Evergreen School
Students will combine a wide variety of elements of design, engineering, and fantasy to create models of their own futuristic dream house. Well be learning how to and using the laser cutter for structure, 3D printer for furniture and features, electronic elements for lighting or elevators or… whatever else your child can dream up for their futuristic house. This class will focus on design, prototyping, craftsmanship, and creativity to produce the models, whether elaborate or sleek. 1st - 2nd Grade | Homework Lab with Mrs. Ferguson (Jan to March) - Mondays and Wednesdays - Morgan Park Academy
During our Homework Lab time, we will work on completing students assigned homework and practicing their weekly spelling list. Snacks will be given to the students while they are working. Mountainside Adventures 1 - Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center
With the Mohonk Preserve and Mohonk Mountain House land as the arenas for exploration, Mountainside Adventures allows campers to have fun while hiking to new and exciting destinations each day. Campers will focus on developing their problem-solving skills through exciting team challenges and spend their days creating their own adventures along the trail. Days will be active with quiet time at the end of each day for reflection, be it sitting on a log in the forest or within the recess of a rock crevice. Boating: Basic Sailing Camp - Lake Merritt Boating Center
Piedmont Recreation is proud to partner with the City of Oakland Lake Merritt Boating Center. Piedmont Recreation offers transportation to and from these camps. The Basic Sailing Camp requires a swim evaluation that can be arranged through the Piedmont Community Pool at (510) 655-5163. SWIM EVALUATION IS REQUIRED. This entry level sailing class will definitely give kids a chance to get their "sea legs". The campers start off learning the parts of the sailboat and by weeks end theyll understand wind direction as it relates to propelling, and more importantly, controlling their sailboat. Games and drills on the water help to teach these basic skills. No experience is needed. If your child does not have a swim evaluation verification on file, a swim evaluation will have to be completed before the first day of camp.
