USAT National Triathlon Skills Camp - Texas - Schreiner University
This is the USAT National Junior Triathlon Skills Camp for athletes 12-16 years old (age as of 12/31/2016). All Participants must complete an event application found at /. Once completed, athletes will be sent a password within (5) business days to finalize registration. Event Fees: NOTE: These days/times apply to completed applications only. $565 to March 1, 11:59pm. $615 to April 1, 11:59pm. $665 to May 1, 11:59pm. $715 to May 22, 11:59pm. Registration Closed after May 22, 2016. Cancellation : Registration fees are fully refundable Before March 31, 2016. From April 1- May 22, 2016 participants may receive a 50% refund. Villa Times Spring - Villa Academy
Join the Villa Times newspaper staff and help publish Villa Academys only school newspaper. Led by Marta Franzen, you will learn how to plan and organize issues; write news and feature stories; illustrate and edit stories; and publish and sell a newspaper. Middle school students will have opportunities for leadership by helping younger reporters with writing, typing and editing, as well as managing newspaper content and design. 206-524-7009

Nature School- Session 5 - Chico Creek Nature Center
Nature School is a first learning experience in nature. It is a drop off program designed for Pre K, TK and Kindergartners. Young first graders may also enjoy this class. All children should be potty trained and ready for an experience away from their family. Our teachers are happy to help facilitate "goodbyes" as is often needed with this age. Children learn about nature, letters, numbers, colors and shapes through crafts, songs, games, animal visits and guided exploration of the park. The teacher is trained in and uses curriculum from Growing Up Wild that meets state standards in science, literacy, math, art and STEM. Each class has a different theme. For optimum learning a full year of participation is encouraged. Classes are broken into 6 Wednesday sessions. Limited to 16 students with a ratio of 1 teacher to 8 children. The program runs 11am to 2pm. We recommend your family joins us for Natures ABCs that is 10 to 11am to help in the drop off transition. Middle School Green Team Spring - Villa Academy
The Green Team is a student-driven after-school club that will explore issues of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and conservation such as food waste composting, recycling, energy use, and air quality. This student team will participate in hands-on environmental science projects that will include conducting research, gathering data, and analyzing and sharing results. Participants will receive community service based on attendance. This class meets every other week beginning December 17th. 206-524-7009
