My daughter is 13 and enjoyed this camp. The camp encourages community service for children entering grades 7–10. The goal of this camp is to raise youth to become responsible adults. The best part of this program is it helped her develop socially. She met other young students and made lifelong friends. She can't wait for next summer to attend camp again.... Read More...

Kid's do Strollfit - Norman, OK
Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. If you have a younger one that would like to teach, let me know and I will add them. Don't want to exclude any who wants to teach!! Be sure you bring your camera. This is the cutest class of they year!! Elite Stride Kid's Fitness Camp - Conroe, TX
Beginning June 5, 2015, Elite Stride will be holding a 6-week strength and conditioning training camp and also skilled position training camp. Age group 6-12. The ending date for this event is July 17. Our goal is to help your children get the most out of their summer vacation and provide them with an outlet to stay active as well as reinforce a sense of leadership and discipline. Not only will we get your kids in shape to perform their best, but we will motivate them to excel in their education and at home. This camp will be coached by Dwain Kanyiki, a Navy veteran, personal trainer, little league football coach, and Lone Star College football coach. 6 - 14 year olds are invited to participate in Yuba Sutter Arts first Kid's Art, Music, Movement and Acting (KAMMA) Camp, July 18th - July 22nd daily from 9am - 3:30pm. Kid's will take part in a well-rounded variety of artistic activities. At the end of the week, on Friday, July 22nd, an art show and performance will be held at 6pm in the Lee Burrows Center For the Arts, Theater. Full and half-day registrations are available. Ceramics 5 - Funky and Functional - Artists Exchange
Not everything functional has to be boring, right? A plate is a plate and a bowl is a bowl but in this week of camp, campers will learn to make functional things extraordinary! Roll, flatten, pinch, cut, and bend. Use traditional hand building techniques to make pottery that is funky functional and fantastic. Ceramics camps allow children to immerse themselves in clay studio studies ranging from basic hand building, wheel throwing, and sculpting. Campers will learn a variety of skills designed to fit the camp they are in. Ceramic focus campers will learn the technical aspects of recycling, slab work, build a simple kiln from a metal trash can and firing pottery in it. All under the guidance of a professional potter and the fire department. Clay adventures offers a beginners taste of experimenting with clay.
