7th-9th grade week occurs at the same time as our senior high week, but they are not part of the senior high week. They have different schedules and do different activities. Is there a better place to spend a week of your summer than at camp? For over 80 years, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp has been a summer tradition for many families! Located on the beautiful shores of Grindstone Lake in Sandstone MN, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp offers many opportunities for summer fun, and this year is no exception! Your Week will be filled with swimming, meeting new friends, canoeing/kayaking, learning new skills, playing games, arts and crafts, climbing our indoor Rock Wall, exploring Gods world through the Creation Center, and best of all. digging deeper into Gods Word! Week 1: Young Scientist/Photography and Fiber Arts - The Childrens Tree Montessori School
Young Scientists (3-6): Daily experiments and take-home project, exploring the human body and our senses and the universe will keep preschoolers busy. Photography & Fiber Arts (6-12): Participants will explore local nature areas with cameras and learn digital editing. Those interested in fiber arts will also learn to knit, crochet and weave. Participants will need to bring their own camera. The wonderfully qualified staff at The Childrens Tree Montessori School have come together to create an interactive summer program to keep your 3-12 yr old child engaged, discovering, and learning. *Activities for children ages 3-12 yrs old *Full day: bring a lunch, sunscreen, bathing suit, and towel *Sessions are Monday –Thursday *Activities will be age appropriate for all children *Must be fully potty trained for preschool program *Highly recommended for new students *Program Hours are 8:30-3:30 or 8:30 -12:00 860-388-3536
