Outland Studios Kid Day Camp - Cambridge Springs, PA
Session begins July 11th and ends July 14th from 9 am - noon every day with a final gallery show just for the kids on July 15th at 4pm. Outland Studios kids art day camp! We will explore all the possibilities of the art world in fun and exciting ways. Have your child come and learn about different art mediums and explore their expressive side. Activities will include: Making a Camp Totem Pole (crafting) Exploring the World of Painting ( Acrylic, watercolor, etc) 3D Art (earthen ware and experimental mediums) Art in Nature (Sketching and an outdoor hike) and a Final Mural Piece to be displayed with all of their other work from the week in a Kids Exclusive Gallery Show on the 15th! All kids participating will receive a mixed medium art tablet, charcoal pencil and eraser sets, a paint brush and a kit to keep all of their supplies in! All supplies to create their pieces are provided by Outland Studios. Parents are more than welcome to stay and help or watch their children grow! Tennis- Spring Break Camp 3rd-5th Grade - Del Mar School
Beginner to Advanced. Children are divided by age and level. Camps feature development of tennis strokes, rallying skills, and competitive play that is age appropriate. Campers learn teamwork, make friends, and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball and Big Kahuna. All camps feature HIGGINS BUCKS, Water Fun Day (no swimming), and the Higgins Bucks Store where children purchase prizes on Fridays! Design, make and wear your own fashion gear. This class will involve hand sewing, painting on fabric, jewelry design, fashion illustration, knitting, and learning to do fashion hairstyles. Your teacher, a fashion designer, will inspire you to try new things and express your personal style! Instructor: Britt Rynearson has been teaching art and design for 14 years and has worked extensively with students ages 3 to 18. She sold her own line of jewelry when she was 11 at local farmers markets! Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. At this exciting camp your child will craft and create on a lap top computer. Throughout the week, your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode of MINECRAFT ® BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Renaissance has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. We will focus on several advanced crafting skills such as red-stone wiring, advanced survival tactics and advanced gardening. Campers will participate in a horserace and become paleoentoligists digging for bones to construct a dinosaur. There are new challenges everyday and the excitement builds with each new challenge.
