The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 5th. Activities for Middle School could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, bike riding (Middle School week, helmet required), waterpark, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Want to work outside this summer? Are you an outdoor program looking for potential employees? Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season. Students are grouped by grade level and move through art, science, music and games/sports rotations in the mornings. Students participate in Red Cross swimming lessons in the afternoons as well as large group games and activities. Lacrosse: the fastest growing team sport in America. This camp is designed for girls and boys. Non-contact lacrosse, also know as "Soft Lacrosse" is played. Individual skills are taught: catching, throwing, scooping and cradling. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Sports Unlimited provides all the equipment. and focuses on fun, skill development, team play, safety and sportsmanship. Campers should bring sunscreen, water and a snack. Rain make ups will take place on Fridays. Dont have a sewing machine? Rental machines will be available for classroom use. A materials list will be provided one week before camp.
