Actually, our daughter is the one who reminded us of that and it was just one of the wonderful lessons she brought home from her time at Park River. I'll be competing for the chance to play at Summer Camp Music Festival in May! I'll be updating this with the times I play asap. But for now I know that it's based on a door poll so the more people that comes and votes the better! Also, it's only a 3$ cover! There's going to great music from local DJ's, but of course a vote for me is definitely preferred :)

Musical Robots - MacRostie Art Center
Art, science, technology and math! Troy Rogers is a composer, instrument builder, and educator whose work often finds itself at various intersections of art and technology. For more than ten years, he has been creating robotic musical instruments and producing music for these novel devices. He will provide an ensemble of percussion robots for the workshop and guide students through the process. Kits available for purchase but not required for workshop participation. They speak to each other underwater and can find things without being able to see them! Dont you wish you were a dolphin? Lets find out more about these ocean superstars. And of course - we have to play in the water A LOT this week. Well find things with our masks blacked out by echolocation and well play Capture the Fish!
