Children learn literacy skills through songs, poems, literacy centers, small and whole group activities, and read-alouds. Children engage in play and activities that are related to alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, print knowledge, comprehension, reading and writing. The core of our literacy program was created at the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Meets twice per week. Teen Extreme Youth Camp 2015 - Venice, FL
This Summer June 22nd-26th we are going to Teen Extreme Youth Camp at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL. This camp is going to be awesome with exciting preaching from Kenny Baldwin, an indoor water park, paintball, bowling, swimming, ice skating, inline skating, rock climbing, team competitions, music competitions, and much more on the Pensacola Christian College campus. The cost for this camp is $195 per student. (same as last year!) Anyone going into 7th grade fall of 2015 through 2015 graduates can attend. Applications will be available in the teen room and Church foyer. Please turn in your paper application ASAP to reserve your spot!

OUTDOOR YOUTH DAY - West Palm Beach, FL
Outdoor Youth Day is February 4,2017 at the Everglades Youth Camp 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will be the Florida Sportsmens Conservation Association 14th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Event and It’s FSCA bigiest day of the year. This event has buggy rides, airboat rides, pony rides, and canoeing, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV.
