We will be hiking and exploring the area around that Campground. We will be 25minutes from Asheville, NC The cost will be roughly $10.00 per person per day of tent camping. The sites we will secure are right off the river! We will have a nearby pavillion to grill and cook. There are MANY cabins to choose from, the cabins have electricity but no running water. All showers will be at the bath house in the middlefo the campground. Those that want to paticipate in getting a cabin please let me know and we can firgure out the cost per person. Campfires every night! Get your marshmellows ready! THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY EVENT!! Kids will have plenty to do with creeks to wade through and a playground nearby. Take a deep dive into becoming a screenprint expert using the professional equipment that Kalas studio has to offer. We will start with the basics of cutting stencils for DIY printing and then move into more complex methods including multi-layered, repeat pattern, and photography-based images. Print on paper, fabric, shirts, and other clothing. Whether you are interested in drawing, hand-lettering, digital media, photography or graphic design, this is the class for you! Instructor Bio: Claire Kessler-Bradner is a second-generation San Francisco printmaker. Growing up in the culture of the print shop, she developed a love of process and problem-solving, materials, equipment and tools, and the collaborative camaraderie of making together. Her work in printmaking, painting, drawing, book arts, and sculpture addresses the narrative intersection of place and memory. After earning her MFA at California College of the Arts, Claire returned to teaching fine art at the middle and high school level. This camp is designed to help advanced players polish up their individual skills while learning to execute team strategies for winning rallies, games and matches. Following some initial review for individual skills the majority of the camp sessions will be dedicated to competitive drills and scrimmages. Instruction will be geared towards maximizing each individuals skills to maximize a teams opportunities for success utilizing drills and tactics that help Texas A&M win the SEC Championship. This camp is intended for experienced players with strong individual skills and understanding of the game. This camp is limited to players entering grades 9-12.
