Congressional Debate Camp - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Are you comfortable with the world as it is or would you like to be an agent of change? In a democratic society, in a business, or in an organized group of individuals, change occurs through persuasion and negotiation. By attending this camp, students will learn the basics of congressional debate and parliamentary procedure. Through a blend of games, discussions, outdoor activities, and practice sessions, they will hone analytical skills, impromptu responses, and speaking abilities. Adventure Day Camp - Meineke Recreation Center (MRC)
This fun-filled Monday-Friday camp is designed for your child to take part in eleven weeks of recreational activities, swimming, field trips and more. Camp is held out of the Meineke Recreation Center, 220 East Weathersfield Way. Extended care is also offered for an additional fee. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch and suit everyday, unless specified. Parents will receive a detailed camp calendar prior to the start of camp. SC2016: I Wish I Were A Dolphin Week - Sundial
Whats not to love about dolphins? Smart, playful, they love their friends and family and theyre phenomenal swimmers and jumpers. They speak to each other underwater and can find things without being able to see them! Dont you wish you were a dolphin? Lets find out more about these ocean superstars. And of course - we have to play in the water A LOT this week. Well find things with our masks blacked out by echolocation and well play Capture the Fish!
