5 Day Intro to programming camp. (Girls and Boys ages 8 to 12) Has your child mastered the remote control, tablet and smartphone? They play games, watch movies and DVR their favorite TV shows. Your little genius may have even remembered your App Store password. But, have you ever wondered how to get them interested in learning more about the technology behind all their favorite devices? The URPLE camp was designed to address that specific challenge in a fun, engaging and entertaining way. In this camp, your child will learn the basics principles of computing. In our hands on workshop they will build and customize their very own Raspberry Pi computers. While a lot of fun, this learning toy is a full-blown Linux based computer that your child will learn the fundamentals of programming on. Using graphical programming languages, theyll use code to customize their own Minecraft Worlds and use Scratch to create their own games, animations and stories. Along the way, students will express their creativity through technology, learn valuable problem solving skills and have fun in a collaborative environment. How old are the rocks in Northeast Ohio and how did they form? This week we will discover many different rock formations as we explore the geology around the Nature Center, as well as Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park and Euclid Creek Reservation. SoCal Youth Tri Series Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim Clinic - South Shores Park, Mission Bay
Our USA TRIATHLON CERTIFIED COACHES will make sure your child is well prepared for their Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim! We will practice sighting, navigating their swim course, pacing their energy, and practice entries and exits. Child must be able to swim 100 yds. Wetsuits highly recommended. Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic. Plus, Healthy post event refreshments.
