Intro to Aviation - Ground School Camp - Denbigh Community Center
TAM Aviation Easts Spring Break program mission is to encourage youth involvement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; and how it ties into the field of aviation. This program will go over aircraft systems, basic aerodynamics, communication procedures, flight instruments and a Discovery Flight. This program will also take field trips to the airport, museums and air shows. A $35.00 fee will be due to the instructor on the first day of class for books and equipment. Operation Kids Camp - Camp Nawakwa
2016 Operation Kids Camp at Camp Nawakwa "Supporting the Homefront Together Operation Kids Camp is unique and open to youth ages 8 to 14 years who have an active duty or retired military, veteran, police, fire fighter or EMT family member. Operation Kids Camp Mission: Connecting youth from military & first responder families, while developing 21st century skills such as critical thinking, communication and social skills. Each child will return home with a greater understanding of themselves, more confidence and improved self reliance skills. Animal Adventure Camp - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
This camp will explore subjects such a s animal behavior, biology, food chain, and the importance of biodiversity and conservation. Under close adult supervision there will be hands on interaction with real, live animals. Each day will feature a new animal friend, such as a reptile, amphibian, mammal, bird, or arthropod. Camp will include education, game, crafts, stories, and creative play. Please send a healthy snack with your child each day. Creative Craft Laboratory with Christina Sabato - The Philadelphia School
Create amazing "green" artwork of all colors from an exciting variety of art materials in the TPS Creative Craft Laboratory! Experiment with new techniques to recycle, upcycle, and decorate with items that would otherwise be discarded. Each day, campers will explore different media and learn new art-making skills, with time to work on guided and independent projects. Draw, paint, sculpt, sew, and design trash into practical, beautiful art treasures in this week of creative fun! Early drop off is available at no additional cost from 8:00am-9:00am.
