Unplugged Youth Retreat - East Troy, WI
Time to get away and unplug from the hectic pace of life. This retreat is for youth in 8th grade through 12th grade. Fee is $100. For the first 10 to sign up, receive a $25 discount making it just $75 for a fun faith filled weekend! Camp TImber-lee is a wonderful facility with 600 acres of outdoor space, a toboggan hill and much more. A special band and speaker will engage our time of preparation for Holy week and Easter. It's that time of year again. PAC Modern is hosting our 8th annual Summer PAC Camp! PAC Camp is a 6 week program where dancers of all ages can learn in a welcoming and fun environment. Guest Speaker: Pastor Rahshan Wall Schedule Friday - Worship 7pm Saturday - Outreach 9am & Worship 11am & Social Event 8:30pm-11pm Outreach Details Dress: Casual What are we doing? We will be distributing Blessing bags to the less fortunate at Fairmount Park in Riverside California. What would the Blessing Bags consist of? - Hygiene Products (no mouthwash) - Water Bottle - First Aid materials (no sharp objects) - Baby wipes - Wash cloth - Chapstick - Sunscreen - Nonperishable food items Who is responsible for providing blessing bags? Each student is encouraged to bring a blessing bag with them. You can trade in your bag for a Mercy Chronicles t-shirt on Friday night or Saturday morning before we head to the Park. Transportation: There will be a bus available for transportation to the park. Spaces will be available to those who pre-register first. Campers will learn the ancient art of fencing beginning with the modern version of the court sword. Campers will learn basic foot drill, parry drill, and attacks. Physical skills in agility, coordination and fitness will be emphasized. Rules, scoring and judging, tactics and strategy are part of the fencing mental skills developed as well. Campers will sharpen concentration and alertness, reaction and evaluation. Sparring is safe and fun. Required equipment will be furnished. Minimum of four children.
