SPRING PRODUCTION DETAILS SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK JR. LIVE The Emmy® Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is now the basis for one of the most fun musicals ever to hit the stage, Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. Join our cast of young thespians to sing, dance, and act your way onto the stage. Classes consist of vocal and choreography rehearsals, theatre games and acting exercises. U.P. Python Golf Team Spring 2015 AGES 6-9 Co-Ed - The Courses at Watters Creek
The U.P. Python Golf Team is the perfect vehicle to introduce kids to the game of golf. Fun, friends and positive coaching are the key elements along with spending the majority of all practice time on the golf course. NTPGA Team Golf Tournaments will provide fun opportunities to compete in tournaments that will be "scaled down" to fit the beginning golfers abilities. The team will practice on Wednesdays from 4:15-5:30pm at Watters Creek and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:45 at Keeton Park. ***Please note the two different practice locations. PGA Golf Professional Chuck Higgins will coach the Pythons. Fee includes all practices, coaching and Python SWAG. THIS IS FOR THE BRAND NEW OR BEGINNING GOLFER AS WELL AS ACTIVE PLAYERS. DONT WORRY THAT YOUR CHILD IS NOT "GOOD ENOUGH" TO BE ON THIS TEAM, MY GOAL IS TO INTRODUCE THE GAME OF GOLF IN A WAY THAT WILL ALLOW THAT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE SPORT. Waterfalls & Wading - July 24 - Camp Pisgah
Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water non-stop for two minutes in order to participate. 336-274-8491

Fly Fishing - The Evergreen School
Fly fishing is a sport that teaches patience, improves motor skills, and fosters an appreciation for nature. No one can walk away from losing a five minute battle with a stubborn trout without a deep respect for the fish! Students will learn the basics of fly fishing – setting up their rod and reel, knot typing, basic overhead casting, selecting the right fly, etc. Discussion will also include the history of fly fishing, how its different from other kinds of fishing, and entomology. Enjoy a week full of sports, come on out to the Jefferson County Community Center for a fun filled week of activities. Kids will play games and stay active.
