So the kids are off from school today...Bring them to Kayla's Creative Art Studio for an fun, artful, educational experience! Our dedicated Instructors have designed Kids Mini-Camps for all the days that the kids are off from school between now and the New Year. Students will experiment with different mediums to create a new masterpiece each day! Students are welcome to bring a peanut-free snack and drink. If your child is staying for the full day, please pack a lunch and drink for them. Art instruction begins at the designated start time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if less than 4 children are registered. No refunds or credits if parent/guardian cancels within 10 days of the start date or for missed classes.

Rise Up Florida High School Retreat November 6-8, 2015 Word of Life Retreat Center Hudson, Florida Join us as we welcome the band Lost & Found to join us for Rise Up Florida as one of their last stops on their farewell tour. This event is for both those who attended the Gathering and for those who were not able to attend. It will equip and re-ignite those who were at the Gathering to "bring the Gathering home" and to provide a feel of the Gathering to those who were not able to be there. Utilizing some of the resources, video and music from the Gathering and adding in some of our own, we will encourage youth to examine their story and the story of their community and congregation and to explore how God might be calling them to tell His story and affect change where they see injustice. Eric Carle takes the lead on Wednesday as we read the Mixed-up Chameleon and mix primary colors for an art project. Advanced Computer Camp - Pi Edition - Transylvania University
Experienced computer students are given the opportunity to work on advanced projects. This camps theme will involve the Raspberry Pi computers as a low-cost experimenters platform. Morning and afternoon programming sessions will begin with a short lecture, then you will be allowed to address several challenges in response to the topic covered in the lecture. Learn at your own pace, but instructors will be available to help if you have questions or problems. Evening sessions are reserved for independent work and network gaming. During camp, participants will live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet service will not be available in the dorm rooms. Campers must have attended a previous Transylvania computer camp or taken some programming classes at your high school. If you do not have this background, please consider registering for our Introduction to Computer Programming Camp, scheduled for June 12-17. Enrollment is limited to 35 campers.
