Rugrats Soccer Club is brought to you by Valor Sports LLC. Rugrats is a parent and child program, "Members Only" club, designed specifically for children ages 18 months to 3.5 years old. Participation in Rugrats is limited to members of Valor Sports only. Rugrats Soccer was designed by a school teacher specializing in early childhood education, and a soccer coach with 25 years of coaching experience. The program is designed to focus on the development of your childs socialization and cooperation skills, and help develop coordination, endurance, and balance. Separation anxiety often experienced by many children is not an issue as the parent is a play partner with Coach and Child. Teen Camp - Escondido, CA
Projected registration opening date: April 5, 2017 Teen Camp is open to all teens with or without previous experience with mindfulness, meditation, or camping. This is a special time for all teenagers–please come and join! During this retreat, we will come together as brothers and sisters to develop skills that help us learn to be alive in the present moment and to connect deeply with ourselves and others. When we learn to be mindful, a whole new world appears. Activities will include walking meditation, eating in mindfulness, participating in periods of noble silence, sitting meditation, dharma presentations, sharing in groups, Deep Relaxation Meditation, joyful service, games, and hiking. Other activities we may include are morning exercise, drinking tea meditation, and a performance night. We will stay in large tents (around 5 teens per tent). Teen girls will be assigned to a tent in Clarity Hamlet Oak Grove and teen boys to a tent in the Solidity Hamlet Campground. There will be monastic and lay staff members staying in both campgrounds. The monastery will provide tents, but we ask everyone to bring their own sleeping bags and sleeping mats. Participants are expected to attend the entire retreat and all activities. Description: There is nothing like stepping out onto the Sheakley Athletic Complex under the lights. Our Friday Night Lights Camp is an up-tempo evening of football with the Cincinnati Coaching Staff and top college coaches from the Midwest. This camp will be held at our practice complex under the lights, simulating a game day environment. Campers will go through combine style testing demos, position drills, 1-on-1 drills, speed drills, and on field competitions focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals. All One Day Camps feature in person instruction by the University of Cincinnati Football Coaches, along with many other coaches from FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III level Colleges. A Member of the Cincinnati Football Staff will lead each Position. Prerequisite: Hartley Level 2 or equivalent learn to sail class Lets go Sailing....Grab a partner or sail solo in this exciting class designed to get kids on the water as quickly as possible. This class is the perfect opportunity for students who know how to sail, who want to get out there, to simply go sailing. Students are introduced to more advanced sailing techniques, basic navigation and will work on improving their overall comfort with sailing around Stonington Harbor and Fishers Island Sound.
