Fall Retreat: Seeing the Face of Christ in the Vulnerable - Dahlonega,
Sign up for the Campus Catholic Fall Retreat: Seeing the Face of Christ in the Vulnerable! Come out and spend a weekend in the mountains full of fellowship, fun and of course JESUS!! In this group please post your name, t-shirt size, and if you are able to provide transportation, and if so how many people you can drive. The retreat will be held at Camp Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, GA. Plan on meeting at Sacred Heart at 3:15 so we can get everyone situated in cars, but we plan on leaving at 3:30 from Sacred Heart in order to arrive at Hidden Lake around 6:30. Dinner will be provided Friday night, and all meals up until Sunday breakfast will be provided. The cost of the retreat is $20 for Georgia College students and $40 for non-Georgia College students, but if you are unable to pay just talk to Deacon and we will find a way for you to be able to go. Youth Summer Camp - Hampden Sydney, VA
The HST Summer Youth Camp will run for 4 days from 9 AM – 12 PM. The camp focus is on baseball instruction and drills to improve the skill. The camp will begin with an introduction of the fundamentals of baseball. Each day will begin with throwing and catching drills. The session will be followed by position training. Each player will learn about each position on the field. Each day there will also be a specialty skill learned. These skills will be base running, sliding, and bunting. Each day ends with games. Session 5 - Austin Yacht Club
The Austin Yacht Clubs Junior Sailing Camp, located on beautiful Lake Travis, is a unique summer sailing experience for kids ages 8-16. Throughout your campers week at AYC, they will learn and practice fundamental skills aboard our fleet of Optimists, Picos, Lasers, Sunfish, and Flying Juniors. With a camper to counselor ratio of 4 to 1, you can rest assured that your child will enjoy the exciting sport of sailing in a safe environment. Our camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00-5:00 with an optional early drop-off and late pick-up hour available free of charge. Through a combination of classroom discussion, land activities, on the water drills, and games our campers gain the skills necessary to become life-long sailors! Special activities include racing, destination sailing, keel boat rides, and wind surfing. 2016 Fees:* Non-Member: $480.00 Member: $395.00** *A $50.00 discount will be given for multi-session and multi-child registrations. Week 2 Day Camper - Rose Lake Youth Camp
Our always popular Day Camp is a favorite for many children ages 4-13. This session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Wednesday through Friday. The cost includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. This is a great introduction to camp life and activities and focuses on the all-time favorite camp activities of swimming, archery, hiking, songs, kayaking, gaga pit, bouldering wall, crafts, and games. Depending on the age and abilities of our youngest day campers, some activities may be adjusted or modified to be age appropriate. Day Camp has an optional Thursday overnight, allowing children to get a taste of resident camp. The Thursday Overnight includes dinner and an evening snack. Children will enjoy campfires and special events and games not offered during the normal Day Camp day. If you would like your child to participate, please indicate this option on the camp registration and there is no additional fee for the Thursday Overnight program. The minimum age for the overnight is 7 years of age. In addition, for an additional $15 families who need extended Day Camp care can sign children up for this option which runs 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Extended care includes breakfast. 231 768 4351
