Using several different art processes, your young artist will create larger than life flowers, hotels for fairies, garden stepping stones, a butterfly bath and more. We will experiment with papier mâché, three dimensional sculpture and mixed media painting. The childrens imaginations will grow wild as they find their flower power. Kid's do Strollfit - Norman, OK
Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. If you have a younger one that would like to teach, let me know and I will add them. Don't want to exclude any who wants to teach!! Be sure you bring your camera. Students are taught step-by-step techniques using pencil, pastel, acrylics, clay, as well as other mixed media, focusing on light/shadow, color, composition, form, and perspective. This is a broad class designed to introduce young students to a wide range of art forms and styles through Art History, encouraging self-confidence and allowing them to find their strengths and interests. 732-530-3444

Students who earned D or F grades in either semester of the 2015-2016 school year may be required to remediate those grades in order to move to the next course in the sequence, receive graduation units, and/or remain eligible for college admissions. SJND offers summer remediation on campus through online course providers in a supervised learning environment. Students have the option to work with academic content tutors and receive personalized attention and course management from the Summer Academics Coordinator and staff. For those who need to take a second remediation course, we strongly recommend finishing one before starting the second.
