Have a digger or a rock hound in the house? Then Young Paleontologist may solve your problems. Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive during this week of camp. Special emphasis will be placed on observation, inference, data collection and just plain fun as our young scientists learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied and hands may get dirty in these hands-on activities. This is Geology 101! 919-847-7625

Odyssey Teen Camp get together in Central Park, Sunday, December 4th from about 12:00-3:00! .... This feels like a really good time to connect with old and new friends and just be together for a few hours. I know many of you live too far to get to NYC for a few hours, but you will be there in spirit. We are going to meet in Central Park at a place called Arthur Ross Pinetum. It's kind of a playground, and small field, that is fenced. It's on the West side of the Park, near 84th Street and Central Park West. It will probably be chilly, so dress nice and warm. It won't be a big deal, we will hang out , eat donuts and pizza, and other healthy food options. I may have new long sleeved t-shirts to give you if your willing to do a little social media marketing for camp. Feel free to bring along any friends. Annual Daniel Island Community Easter Egg Hunt - Smythe Park
Join us Saturday March 19th, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Smythe Park for some egg-celant fun! Only $5 per child to register. All registrations include jump castles, photo booth, face painting, craft station, Easter games, cookie decorating and a dozen candy filled eggs per child! (The Daniel Island POA will be providing all eggs for the hunt). Wristbands will be given out at check in on Saturday, March 19th from 10:45 am - 11:45 am only. Hunt starts at 12:00 pm sharp! Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. Thank you for your interest in Minnesota Farmers Union (MFU) Leadership Camps. The registration cost for this senior high camp is $95 per participant. An annual MFU Family Membership is also required at $75 per year. (Children attending camp for the first time will not be required to have an MFU Family Membership.) A $10 discount will be given next year to any returning camper who brings a friend to camp who never participated in the camp program.
