A combination of Nature, Science, History and FUN. Explorers Camp takes full advantage of the 72 acres of woodland and paths that surround the Rockwood Museum. Mother Nature provides and ever-changing tableau for campers to hike and explore. Pan for gold in the creek and discover the ecosystem of the pond. The Victorian mansion is the perfect setting to absorb the evolution of the Industrial Age. Kids will have so much fun they won?t even know they are learning! NJ, Waldwick; Preseason Faceoff Clinic - The Super Dome
The Preseason Faceoff Clinic will focus around the three fundamentals for youth to advanced level players; technique, repetition, and competition. The face-off clinic will teach the players how to hold the stick properly, feet/stance alignment, stick alignment, and primary/counter moves. Specific face-off drills and advanced skill work performed at the college and MLL level will also be incorporated throughout the clinic. The first day will focus mainly on face-off instruction and repetition. The second day will focus mainly on repetition and competition. TAC Summer Camp: Ages 5-6 Week 6 - Manhattan Studio
Campers aged 5-6 have fun creating with their peers in age appropriate classes inspired by a current textile related exhibition in New York. Campers will try their hand at printing, felting, sewing, weaving, and dyeing with both natural + synthetic dyes, creating finished projects every week. Every day, campers venture on a field trip to the Textile Arts Center Manhattan to print, dye, sew, and on Weaving Wednesdays, campers work on looms to create their very own contemporary fabric.
