This 4 week teen intensive is one not to be missed! July 9 - August 5 - fb's events can not be longer than 2 weeks so the correct dates are July 9 - August 5! Our teens love this camp! This camp is a trip and travel camp based out of Southern Oregon. Rappelling, White Water Rafting, Leadership, Firearms Safety Training, Trap Shooting, Basic Hunter Ed, Bow Hunting, Nature Photography, Backpacking, Friction Fire, Fishing, Fly-tying, Hiking, Backcountry Cooking, Horsemanship, Archery, Advanced Scout Training including Wilderness Skills and so much more. The teens will experience all of the same activities our 3 week teen intensive camp has to offer BUT there is a mule and horse packing component preparing the teens to head off on a pack trip putting their learned skills to use with horses and mules the 4th week packing in the Eastern Cascades. SUMMER CAMP WEEK #5 - The REALM
Week 5: Dare to…EXPERIMENT Just as the name implies, this week will be filled with outrageous experiments, slime of all sorts and a wee bit of silliness as we delve into the wacky world of science. Campers will put their lab coats on as they bust myths and create minor explosions... At the end of the week as we study the science of flight, the Realm will hold its second annual kite flying contest on the beach! (310) 399-1139

Wild, Wild, West: California Natural History Are you ready to follow in the path of Lewis and Clark and Sacajawea? Explorers and Adventurers wanted to help discover new plants, new animals, new ways of living in the Wild West frontier. From grizzly bears to towering redwood trees and wild rivers to snow capped mountains we will adventure far and wide describing all that we see. We will learn how to press a plant, draw a map, build a fort, noose a lizard and catch a fish. Look up look around is that a California Condor gliding through the clouds? Falcon Soccer Camp - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Kick off the summer with this fun and educational soccer camp. Campers will learn about passing, trapping, shooting, dribbling, and gain a better understanding of the correct terminology and rules of the game of soccer. Campers will be divided by age/skill and participate in fun drills and small sided games. Players should come with shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle. Participants should also bring sneakers for the FHS gym in case of inclement weather. Camp Director Joe Heathco is the FHS Varsity Boys Soccer Coach, USSF D license holder, 1st Aid/CPR certified, 2005 Maine Soccer Coaches and Forecaster Coach of the Year and has over 20 years of coaching experience.
