SOFTBALL CAMP - Adams Park
Lace up your cleats and get ready to play ball! Campers will learn the basics of pitching, catching, fielding, throwing, hitting and base running. Well spend the day working on skills, drills and techniques and then apply the fundamentals during scrimmages. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a packed lunch with a beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Instructor: Red Cross Especially for young people 11-15 years old, this course give participants the knowledge, skills, and confidence to care for infants though school-aged children. Topics include safety issues, preventing injuries and illnesses, basic child care, first aid, rescue breathing, care for choking, and age-appropriate behavior and play.
