(2016 AKA SOP SCHEDULE BELOW) AKASPORTs Speed of Play: Leadership through Fitness Program, is led by AKA Director, Chris Schulz and the AKA professional training Staff. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day. In a nutshell: You will have the opportunity to select a minimum of 8 weeks (out of 12) for the 2016 Summer SOP program. 8 Week - Full Summer Speed of Play Program = $1,230 $165/week includes Field Trip each week ($1,320) 2 Field Trips are comped free of charge (-$90) (Individual week rate = $165) (Individual week rate with NO Field Trip = $120) If participants decide they do not want to attend a particular Field Trip, we will simply deduct and... 651-447-2454

Please join us for our Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run! Starting friday night we will have devos, activities and an evening ending campfire! Saturday morning we will have breakfast and a devo as we get ready for the Mud Run! The Mud Run starts at 10:30 AM with registration beginning at 9:45. The cost for the Mud Run is 35 and the cost for the mini youth rally is 10. Even if you dont want to participate in the Mud Run we invite you to come out to the mini youth rally and help us cheer on those that are! All proceeds go towards our general scholarship program! Calling all campers who are curious, full of questions, and eager to investigate the world around us! Campers will use scientific tools to go on expeditions in and around our Museum to study and observe what lives here. Campers will become budding young scientist as they study everything from the clouds above the trees to the insects that help to clean the world around us. 919-707-9889

Campfires, Bible lessons, crafts, nature hikes, recreation and swimming are just the beginning of an activity-filled week for campers who are completing the 5th to 7th grades. Campers will enjoy canoeing and archery. All camp activities are designed to meet the needs of tweens. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with those met before. The Future Stars Program is designed for kids ages 4-8 and focuses on basic technical soccer skills and smaller-sided games. Our program introduces dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. The Future Stars will learn how to play a ball with all areas of the foot, while being introduced to the rules and facets of the game.
