Our younger campers will start their day at Cipriani School with camp activities and a healthy snack, followed by a trip to the Belmont Library playground in our Footsteps vans and school buses for outdoor activities and lunch. The afternoon includes a 1/2 hour swim lesson and 1 - 2 hour recreational swim. After swimming, campers head back to Cipriani for snack and afternoon activities. NEW FOR THIS YEAR, each camper enrolled in swim camp will receive a Footsteps Sun Protective long sleeve rashguard-style swim shirt to wear while in the pool. 650-610-0715

Hey everyone. I have been wanting to organize a trip to a couple beautiful places along the Mendocino coast. Their will be many stops where we can go take picture. And sight see some beautiful places along the the Ca-128 and ca-1. Most importantly im organizing a trip where we can all have lots of fun. Camp. And get to to know more fellow car people. 4-H Teen Summit - Session 3 - Nancy, KY
Kentucky 4-H Teen Summit is held annually at the Kentucky 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, KY. The conference is for youth who are currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. This program is designed to develop leadership, citizenship and communication skills in youth. While at the conference, all participants get to learn in fun and educational workshops taught by members of the Kentucky 4-H State Teen Council. The conference also includes motivational speakers that get young people excited about leadership. The cost to attend is $115 which includes meals, lodging, and transportation. Free Summer Horse Day Camp for Kids, Week 8 of 9 - Lacomb, OR
This is not your typical day camp! Kids learn how to get big jobs done and earn big rewards through our framework of barn, garden, and community activities. Our mixture of work, learning, and play develops character, leadership, and real-world skills. Kids start the morning cleaning stalls and doing other jobs, then have a well-supervised fellowship lunch, then ride or do other horse activities in the afternoon. For the kids that are interested in doing other things doing the horsemanship time, we have interesting building or maintenance projects as well as gardening. Sometimes we have someone come share an aspect of their career, or we will go on a field trip to a business, and sometimes we need to go pick up hay or other donations as part of the camp day. Toward the end of the day as parents arrive, we usually do a short devotion that gives kids the chance to tell how they illustrated a positive characteristic that day. Parents and kids should attend a 90-minute tour and orientation prior to enrolling, you just call us and schedule a time. James and the Giant Peach Musical - Villa Academy
Join Shea Salyer and Jacob Lucero for this years 3rd-8th grade musical, Roald Dahls James and the Giant Peach, Jr. This musical world-premiered at Seattle Childrens Theater in 2013. Auditions for lead roles will be Wednesday, January 13th from 2:15pm-6:00pm with rehearsals beginning Tuesday, January 26th, 3:00-5:30pm. Rehearsals are every Tuesday and Thursday that school is in session with performances from May 4-7th, 2016. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion which results in a tremendous peach - and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities, but after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building. Sharon Groblicki will once again direct Pentangle Arts Summer Performing Arts Camp, with Nancy Boymer and musical direction by Bob Merrill. The theme this year is Children in Featured Broadway Roles, featuring songs and scenes from The Fantasticks, The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music. This years camp program teaches vocal technique and presentation, drama, improvisational theater, singing, and choreography. Classes are for children ages 8-13. Activities are indoors and outdoors. In addition, there will be some time allocated for swimming at the Woodstock Recreation Center– weather permitting – after lunch most days. Please note, if you child does not have a Rec Center swim pass, they will need $5 each day to cover the cost of using the pool. FOOD: Bring your own snack, lunch and water.
