Hewitt Clubhouse is our full service after-school, mini fun camps and summer camp program for children in grades k-8. Our mini camp and after-school offerings are available to Hewitt girls only. The program runs daily during the school year. Classes include chess, karate, swimming, science, and culinary learning. Most Clubhouse sessions begin after school and run through 4:30pm but others have a later dismissal time based on the activity. For families wanting more afterschool care there are options for an extended afternoon until or 5:55pm, with opportunities for homework help, indoor games or outdoor play. Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! The Seattle Prep, Varsity Football coaching staff is hosting an 11 day football camp for all returning JV or Varsity players, as well as any 10th-12th grade students interested in joining our football family. We strongly encourage all who intend to participate in football in the fall, attend this camp. Although the camp is a total of 25 days, we will only practice a total of 11 times. This allows for us to work around graduation, finals, and provide rest between practice days. This camp will provide our first opportunity for our new coaching staff to begin developing relationships with our players, teach philosophy and leadership skills, as well as install basic offensive, defensive, and special teams schemes that we will use in the fall. The emphasis of this camp will focus on teaching fundamental skills, general installs, and the More Than Winning philosophy of our program.
