Summer Camps in Three Springs, PA
LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Personal Finance 101 Workshop June 27-July 1 - Summit School
Personal Finance 101 - Camp/Workshop Leader: Gardner Barrier Dates: June 27 - July 1 Rising grades: 6 - 9 In this camp your child will work through fun and engaging conversations and games that will start their journey into financial literacy. We will play games that introduce financial topics, we will explore spreadsheet functionality as we design and evaluate plans, and we will learn some basic lessons about how money works. This "camp" will feel at times like a summer seminar, at times like game play, and at times like group analysis. We will be thinking hard, having meaningful conversations, and having a good time. Participants will finish up the week feeling like blinders have been taken off. They will see the world differently. And theyll have fun, too! All students need to bring is a curiosity about how money works, a willingness to think about things differently, and a desire to learn as much as possible. We will not be leaving campus. Some other "experts" will be coming to us. You can reach me at I have the wonderful opportunity to otherwise serve on our staff as the Assistant Head of School & Director of Upper School. (336) 722-2777
