If you are interested in a specific class that is not offered, please call Kim at 785-537-4420. ***** Instructor: Jesse Ring Ages 11-14 Days: Thursdays Time: 4:00-6:00pm Dates: Feb 4-Mar 10 Cost: $95 (min. enrollment 4) This young teens class will focus on beginning to learn the basics of the potters wheel. Projects will range from cellphone boom box holders, treasure boxes, cereal bowls, and coffee mugs. Clay cost is included. Radical Robots Camp - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 7 and up Campers will spend a project based learning week exploring all things Robotics. Construct your own Robot dog or sculpture from recycled parts and junk and then add robotic technology to make it move. Build a small bristle bot robot who paints. Two Thumbs Up! - Ethical Culture
Watch great movies and learn about critiquing films. Develop a sense for recognizing the thematic (the directors goal of the film), dramatic (storytelling elements) and stylistic aspects (genre) of a movie. Besides having fun at the movies and eating popcorn each week with your friends, you can share your insights and newly found skills of thoughtfully critiquing a film. Well usually take two after school sessions to watch one movie. Each Monday well watch half of a film and follow with a brief discussion, which includes identifying key characteristics and sharing what we thought worked well or not. Learning how to critique a film makes movie watching that much more fun and exciting! Instructor: Renee Stork 212-712-6230

Soccer (Grades 3-5) (PM) - MA Upper School Soccer Fields
This camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of soccer in a setting of encouragement and confidence building. Drills to improve skills will be added and games will focus on team play and scrimmages will be held to demonstrate tactical understanding. All participants need a soccer ball, shin guards, soccer shoes, a water bottle, a snack and sunscreen.
