Kids Art Camp - Pinedale, WY
Pinedale Schools are OUT on Monday, March 28th. Let your kid come create Art & a Craft with us! Ages 5 to 12, 10am-2:30pm at the Pinedale Library! We are going to Paint the Dandelion Painting in their favorite color, then we will serve lunch (Pizza from Rock Rabbit and a caprisun) and then we will all Create a Terracotta Pot Wind Chime for Spring that is right around the corner! All Supplies and Lunch included! We will provide tshirts to protect clothing, but please dress in clothing that can get messy during class. Middle School Computer Programing Week 4 - Knott Hall
Kids will learn computer programming using Scratch software (developed by MIT) and Code.org. During camp, students will think creatively while learning programming basics. By the end of the camp, these budding programmers will be able to put their imagination and creativity into the form of a computer program. This class is a great introduction into basic computer programming. Developed specifically for kids Grades 6-8, Computer Programming camp is a great introduction into coding and logic-based thinking. Go Kids Camp - Emerson - Emerson Elementary
This program is devoted to educating youth about the importance of healthy living. Participants learn about nutrition and physical fitness through informational speakers, recreational activities and field trips. Participants must attend the first and last week of the program. Parents of participants are required to attend 3 meetings to educate the family on the program and teaching healthy living at home. First parent meeting is June 1st from 6-7p at Banner Childrens Medical Center. Parents are required to attend the pre-camp meeting to sign health screening waivers and receive the camp calendar. No refunds are given for this program. A medical release form must be completed by a physician for each participant by the end of the first week of the program. Fishing for Families - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Join us for a great day of aquatic adventures at the Ned Smith Center! Families are invited to share the joy of fishing with your up-and-coming anglers, while learning about the complex environment of the Wiconisco Creek. Ample time will be dedicated to casting instruction and practice, as well as fishing along the creek. Equipment is provided. All participants must wear closed-toe, hard soled shoes that can get wet. Each child will receive a spin cast reel and rod at the conclusion of the day. Thanks to our program partners Bass Pro Shops, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited, we are able to offer this camp at a reduced fee.
