My daughter is interested in marine biology, so we decided to send her to this camp. She was able to study and learn about many different aspects of marine life. She has a greater respect for any living sea creature and she wants to study this science now more than ever. This course is designed as an overview of basic health related topics with an emphasis on how these relate to women. Topics include: stress, nutrition, substance abuse, systems of the body, mental health, behavior and emotions, physical fitness, infections and diseases. ***STUDENTS MAY ACCRUE NO MORE THAN TWO (2) ABSENCES IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT*** ***CREDIT IS GUARANTEED FOR NDA STUDENTS ONLY. Counselor-in-Training Day Camp - Harris Nature Center
For children going into 6th, 7th & 8th grade Now older kids can have the best of two worlds. At Counselor-in-Training Camp, kids will learn how to help the younger campers have a good camp experience and will also spend time hiking, exploring and playing games with their own age group. The answer is these living organisms are influencing the way people are designing new and more efficient technologies. Make your own investigations by looking at a variety of natural objects, using microscopes, designing your own new product, and promoting your prototype to the NESS Biomimicry Judges.
