Mini Einsteins® is a creative introduction to STEM that takes preschoolers through a variety of STEM activities aimed at learning beginning concepts of science, technology and engineering, with a tie in to literature and math. Children become immersed in the topics as they are exposed to the vocabulary, lab equipment, scientific process and engineering design cycle in a fun and engaging environment. In this 8-week exploration (#2), we will investigate Ink, jump into Jets, cook up some Kitchen chemistry, look into Light, manipulate Motion, need our Noses, observe Oxygen, and play around with Pressure. [UCLA UniCamp is a non-profit organization that sends youth from all over Los Angeles up for a week of camp to get away from everyday life for a bit and create the environments they want for themselves, "singing songs, playing games, and changing lives."] I know what you're thinking. Half Day Wk1 - NonRes - Epping Forest Clubhouse
Our morning program lasts from 9am to 12pm, and includes programs for Jellyfish (ages 4-5), Rockfish (ages 6-8) and Blue Crabs (ages 9-12). The morning session typically consists of three 45-60 minute activities that will be exciting and engaging for your children. During each of these time slots we endeavor to provide options for your child, enabling them to do what they like most and empowering them to have the most fun with their day. Activities throughout the day are structured around three main themes including: OUTDOORS (e.g., nature hikes, sailing, water sports, swim skills, kayaking, survival skills), ARTS (e.g., crafts, indian art, tie dyes) and GAMES (e.g., tennis, basketball, dodgeball, beach challenges).
