Youth Ski Trip - Freedom, NH
Youth Ski Trip: for our 7th-12th grade students from Friday February 10th to Sunday February 12th we will be at Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, New Hampshire for a wonderful and blessed weekend of skiing and being in fellowship with one another. Make sure to sign up and get your forms located on the Sunday School Bulletin Board (they will be posted in January 2017). Make sure to come to the Parent & Youth meeting on February 5th before church at 8:30am to go over payments, fill out paperwork and go over the schedule for the Youth Ski Trip. Cost is $130.00 per person this year and if you are in need of rentals or lessons, it will be an additional $20.00 each (they are really $30.00 each, but Northside picks up the other $10.00 per lesson or/and rental for each person). Please make sure to attend our Brunch Fundraiser on February 5th after church to raise funds for travel and for our chaperones. If you are unable to go to the Fundraiser, you will need to pay an additional $25.00.

Coast 2 Coast Soccer?s enthusiastic coaches will teach your child great new soccer skills and the fundamental techniques of how to play. The Hawks Haven Nest provides our youngest campers with the same quality and diverse program found in our Primary Camp. Campers participate in fun, active, enriching activities that are developmentally appropriate. While these children will not participate in off-campus field trips, we will bring special events and activities to campus just for them! A typical day will include both individual and small group activities with an emphasis on: • Developing social skills • Providing cognitive challenges • Learning to cooperate and function successfully in a group • Exploring • Building self-confidence • Learning to make choices • Developing a love of learning • Character Development • Creative Thinking Every day will include indoor activities writing, painting, cutting, and puzzles and outdoor activities like water fun and great games. Both give your child a chance to develop gross and fine motor skills and include free choice as well as instructor-led activities. Because of our busy schedule, all the children can benefit from rest or down time where a nap or story time is encouraged. -- Activity themes vary from week to week and include: Space Adventure Week - wonderful adventures exist in the final frontier; American Landmarks Week -...
