Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Fun Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-9:45am, and picked up anytime between 3-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). A Stake Mini-Youth Conference will be held Friday, March 4 to Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Heber Valley Girl’s Camp. All youth ages 14-18 (by March 5th, 2016) who live in the Oquirrh Lake Stake boundaries are invited to attend. The theme is “Press Forward” which is attributed to our 2016 Worldwide Youth Theme “Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. CrossFit Apogee Teen Power Camp starts 6 October - Apollo Beach, FL
It's here. The CrossFit Apogee Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Cost is $119 per month for children of Apogee members and $149 for children of non-Apogee members Class runs 330-430pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Interested? Starting at 6pm Dale Potter-Clark will discuss the process and research that led to the writing of "The Founders and Evolution of Summer Resorts and Kids' Camps on Four Lakes in Central Maine". There will be time for Q&A followed by book signings. Books will be available for sale following the talk.
Thanksgiving Kids Camp - Gonzales, LA
Two day speed and strength camp for athletes 8-13. This two-day camp will be from 8am-11am on Monday and Tuesday. Kids will gain knowledge and participate in Olympic Weightlifting, Strength Training, and Speed Training. Cost is $120 for both days or $75 for one day. Spots are limited to 30 total athletes to ensure one on one instruction from the coaches. The coaches are CrossFit L-1 trainers, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Certified, a Division I All-America athlete and Division I Collegiate Coach

We are excited to invite the whole Alpha Omega Campus Ministry and the Junior and Seniors from the teen ministry to a Back to School Devotional. Beginning at 5:30pm the Campus Ministries will host a campus fair for the Juniors and Seniors to get information about the campuses in which they are interested. At 6:00pm we will start our devotional. We will have a time of worship, hear testimonies, and listen to the word of God being preached. The fair will continue afterwards. Join us for an inspirational time together.

We cannot get enough of Scratch and neither can our campers! This week-long 9AM-3PM day camp for entering 5th, 6th, and 7th graders (note the year older shift from the other Scratch camps) is a follow-on to the Beginning and Advanced Scratch camps. This camp looks at even more advanced topics and dives into more complex projects, finishing with a chance for participants to polish their projects under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Attendees should be enthusiastic about Scratch, self-motivated, and able to handle the longer day. Students should have completed the beginning and advanced camp prior to taking the Super Scratch camp or had some equivalent training. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM. Lunch is provided. 801-585-1726
