Children Like Camp Activities
My son loved Camp Broad Rock. There was a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for my 12 year old son to choose from at this camp. This camp is for children from preschool through grade 12. Unlike other camps, Camp Broad Rock has an indoor aquatic center. My son was excited to know he could swim regardless of what the weather was like outdoors. Space Kids Camp Ages 4-5 - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Mould & Gray Cathy Gray and Belinda Mould are excited to invite students going into Kindergarten to join them for "Space Kids Camp." We will provide an introduction with hands-on activities exploring the solar system, stars, and traveling into space. We will engage all of the senses through literature, cooking, experiments, and dramatic play. Blast off into a universe of fun and learning! Questions? PM Creatures of the Night 8/8 (ages 4-5) - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Learn the art of clay sculpture and create a fantastical ceramic nightlight. Youll combine your favorite parts of different animals (for example, an elephants trunk, a rabbits ears and a lizards tail) to form a magical, working night light to put on your nightstand. Youll be dripping, smearing, slathering, and flinging your way to incredible artwork! Puppetry: The stars of several popular 1940s TV shows were inanimate objects. Hmmm… how could that be? They were puppets like Howdy Doody, Kukla & Ollie and their friends that created a make-believe world, entertaining children and adults alike! CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from The Lion King Disneys Broadway musical, The Lion King, is one of the biggest and most beloved theater shows of all time. And theres no question why. Join us as we not only sing and dance through songs like I Just Cant Wait to Be King and Hakuna Matata, but we will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring Pride Rock to life! Campers will work with professional teaching artist to find creative ways to capture the essence of these animals and characters through puppet making, costume building and other elements of design. An informal performance will culminate this ensemble-building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Seussical Jr Week Everyone is invited on our Seussical adventure this summer!
