Albany Gems Summer Youth Dance Camp - Albany, OR
The Gems are hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Dance Camp on July 16-17th, 2016. This is a two day camp for 1st - 8th grade dancers of all abilty and skill levels. All classes will be held in the main facility at the Albany Boys and Girls Club. Both days will run from 8:00am - 3:00pm. This give LOTS of time for parents to get some stuff done while we entertain your kiddos! Classes will be split up by level and experience so that everyone is in a class they are comfortable with. Classes will be divided into Mini, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Class descriptions will be posted later in the comments. Dancers will stretch and warm up together, learn a entire camp dance, learn level appropriate dance routines, practice technical skills that apply to all dancers, and dancers will be given snack and lunch breaks both days. At the end of the second day (3:00pm) there will be a family and friends show so that your dancers can show you what they've been working on. We have INCREDIBLE instructors coming from ALL over the State of Oregon to give your kiddos the BEST experience possible! ...

2016 Baroody Kayak Touring and Fishing Camp - Alexandria
Join Virginia Outside for an introduction to kayaking and kayak fishing. Our staff will instruct you on safety, paddling, and general maneuvering of a sit-on-top kayak. As you learn throughout the week at various locations, we will incorporate fishing, sightseeing and touring while paddling on all types of water. From local lakes and rivers like Bull Run, Fountainhead, and tidal creeks of the Potomac. We will progress to days on lazy rivers that include the Shenandoah, Rappahannock, and Rapidan Rivers. A kayak is a great way to get close to nature and we expect to see bald eagles, ospreys, herons, deer and beaver. When we are fishing our catch will include large and smallmouth bass, catfish, sunfish, crappie, and maybe even the infamous snakehead. Mt. Hood Session 2 - 14 & Older - Mt. Hood Academy House
Your daughter must be a 14 & older ski racer to participate in this camp. Session 2 at Keelys Ski Camp is seven days, three days on snow, one day off and then 3 days on. Summer is an opportune time to develop and improve technique, for this reason we emphasize drills each day of skiing. The first day focuses on free skiing and drills. Day 2 & 3 are more drills and gate training. Day 4 is OFF and we offer fun activities either in Hood River, rafting the Deschutes River, or a trip to Portland. Day 5,6 & 7 include more gate training, free skiing and drills. Day 7 is also the travel day. At Keelys Ski Camp many of the all female coaching staff are recently retired from the U. S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA and FIS). Each day on the hill the coaches offer world-class visuals by training with and coaching the girls. 406-581-4991
