Fiddling Fun and Jazzy Jammin Both fiddling and jazz styles enhance the musical development of any string player within a motivating context. Fiddlin Fun will boost your musical confidence and performance skills through a journey into an alternative performance style, through Celtic and American Fiddle Tunes. In Jazzy Jammin you will learn cool jazz rhythms, bowings, swing and bebop style, syncopation and different scales.Open to violin, viola, cello and stringed bass. Taught by Dr. Melinda Rubin. Please register by May 10, 2016 On June 17th, at the last class, parents are welcome to celebrate in the students accomplishments. Requirements: Students must have completed at least 2 years of study on their instrument and be competent in notereading so they can fully enjoy the class experience. Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. This highly charged camp will make your hair stand on end! Join us to explore physics and chemistry. Well be building, breaking, floating and squishing all sorts of contraptions and gooey concoctions. Pre and Post Camp are available - see our Pre and Post Camp section. Activities are the same each week during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Use the grade your child JUST COMPLETED in the spring as his/her grade for camp registration. AGE LEVEL REQUIREMENTS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Series of four, 1-hour lessons for $140. Our teen clinics go beyond the basics of the golf swing. Emphasis is on the scoring part of the game: putting, chipping and pitching as well as full swing. Video analysis may be used to improve the swing. Rules and etiquette are also strongly emphasized. Intended for teens ages 13-17 (Minimum 4 students). PLEASE NOTE: There is a $3.95 non-refundable fee for registering online. Students should join us for a fun week filled with outdoor skills, crafts, songs and stories. We will cook box oven brownies, make a knot person, your own shelter, play first aid knife and fire safety games. There is a lot do, create and learn to make the great outdoors fun and safe. This is a great session for elementary children ages 7 – 8 — a four day/three night experience that provides a taste of all the fun of swimming, hiking, crafts, pond zip line, hiking to the fire tower and more!
