Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Summer Camp - Week #7 Ooey Gooey Wild Week With a name like that, what on earth will we do? Throughout the week we will make some fun crafts getting ooey and gooey. We will make our own slime, play dough, and lets see if we can create a masterpiece doing some finger painting. As far as the getting wild part goes, we will have some wild relays and themed days. Crazy hair day and super sweet socks day will just be a few.
