School’s almost out, its time for the part of summer we always look forward to. Summer Camp has everything a stressed kid wants. New friends, new experiences, nature n shit. Break out those lanyards again, let’s see the tie dyed shirts and the bucket hats. It’s not everyday that the counselors invite the campers to drink with them, but this Saturday we invite you into our cabin to dance till the bonfire burns out, and start the summer correctly. More than 60 overnight camp, day camp and summer program exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions. Plan your child's summer of fun all in one day. To top it off, there will also be lots of fun entertainment from face painters, our prize wheel, mock covers, and much more. Camp Invention NEW! Rec & Ed is proud to present the nationally-known Camp Invention summer enrichment program to the Ann Arbor area. Camp Invention reinforces and extends the school year curriculum through inquiry-based, hands-on engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts. This week, students dive into the deep seas of their imaginations in search of buried treasure! Activities include discovering a long lost map which will lead them to unknown worlds and meeting colorful characters aboard the ship of Adventure.
