The Stanford Baseball School (Part ONE), along with the Stanford Games Camp (Part TWO), are designed to be taken simultaneously by those that enjoy and have a passion for the game. Participants will first be grouped by age, ability, and prior experiences. During the morning instructional session throughout each week, participants will be coached in several baseball skills, fundamentals, and team concepts. Members of the camp will receive instruction in a variety of areas including hitting, infield play, outfield play, pitching, catching, rundowns, double plays and base running. Finally, everyday campers will hit in our hitting facility. In the Games Camp (Part TWO) players are grouped by age and ability and teams are formed. Teams play against one another in a coach pitched game where the goal is to see that ball put into play. Ranger Kid Day Camp - Christmas, FL
Greetings Leaders, at our last Sectional Leaders meeting we decided to make up the Hurricane Matthew postponed RK Day Camp. We originally decided on January 21, 2017 but that date proved problematic so a consensus with a majority of Outpost Coordinators we have moved the date to February 18, 2017. The date was confirmed with Jungle Adventures today and the price of $12 per boy and adult will hold. The Boy price includes admission, event patch and craft, the adult price is for admission only. If an adult wants the patch it is $2.00 more. Everybody attending needs to have a sack lunch and drink which will be stored in coolers until the lunch break. The times are from 9:30am (registration), with entry to the park at 10am, we plan to conclude by 2pm. Questions should be directed to your Outpost Coordinator or if necessary you can contact Steve Bridges.

Camp- Visual Arts Camp-Teen M-F 4 pm (Ages 13-15) - Beck Center for the Arts
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Teen artists wishing to expand and deepen their understanding of arts experiences will want to join in this popular and intensive summer camp. Students of all skill levels will be engaged in the creative process through a variety of classic art mediums and techniques including painting, drawing, pottery making, printmaking, and more in a way they may not have time for during the school year. Because of the multi-media nature of this camp, there will be an emphasis on guiding teens to try new methods and embrace creativity! Artists should wear clothing that can get dirty during the creation of art. Our training sessions are creative and geared toward maintaining a fun yet challenging and competitive atmosphere. We understand that athletes need to not only be pushed to their limits, but they must enjoy what they are doing if they are to truly benefit from it. The program utilizes a combination of speed, acceleration, and agility drills coupled with power and strength exercises in a structured and controlled environment. These young athletes will learn and sharpen their skills in the mechanics of running, agility, and footwork, while being introduced to various pieces of speed and agility training equipment throughout the facility. Low-intensity strength training is emphasized with exercises involving the athletes own body weight, and power is developed through the application of plyometrics. As an actor, director, and instructor, he has been working in the region for over 20 years. He has directed shows at Aldersgate and MVCCT.
