Kid's Night Out - Camp Out Friday, January 20, 5:00-8:00 Suggested Ages: 3-9 (drop off) $45 ($35 for each additional sibling) Send the kids to camp out at TLGT. Kids will work with our expert staff and experience an array of foods from around the world through hands-on learning. Recommended ages: 4-10. Each class must be registered for separately. KidSport Morning Week of 7/11 - 7/15 - Scarlett Middle School
KidSport Mornings Ages 4 -13[] Kids enjoy a variety of team sports, individual sports, team building games, fitness and other physical education activities and swimming lessons Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology Campers bring snacks and water. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. Architectural Adventures - Middle School
Architectural Adventures combines science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts in a uniquely fun and challenging way valuable for young people to enjoy, that allows hands-on learning experiences. Children will be inspired by building upon their natural curiosity to learn about different aspects of modern architecture. For example, a ‘green engineering unit allows students to create, test, and refine architectural designs involving the use of alternative energy and environmental awareness. Students will learn how to build efficient wind powered machines and discover how these machines can help reduce fuel consumption. Throughout the week, students will apply basic engineering design concepts to create, test, and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems, including cars, planes, and cranes. Students will also learn the basics of fluid dynamics while constructing roller coasters and other vehicles, culminating in the construction of an incredibly fast air powered dragster that students get to keep at the end of the course. Students will also compete in groups to build the highest structure! Spanish Immersion Camp: Wild and Wacky STEAM (Half Day) - Avenues New York
The half-day language immersion camp for nursery is a perfect introduction to Avenues unique teaching style, paired with the fun of summer. It will accommodate all levels of knowledge and experience in the target languages, serving as a bridge for incoming Avenues students and a learning opportunity for families who have been curious about immersion study. All families are invited to join our workshare on the last day of each session, which will showcase how much campers have accomplished and what a strong community they have built! Children must be fully toilet-trained and must have experienced separation prior to the start of camp.
