LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 10th 2016 Camp Buckaroo WINTER BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Winter Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing + GLOVES on cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day. The Wed. Night Overnight option is NOT offered for this camp. Once registered, there is no refund offered. 865-376-9312

Lots of Water Time
If there is one thing you need to know about our boy and water is that you can't get him out of it... especially when he's got a inner tube to float in. I thought he might take up archery because of how many times he watched "Hunger Games!" LOL! But instead this year was his first time at fly-fishing and I'm afraid the camp made him a total convert. Vendor: Tiny Chefs Chopped! Never have food challenge reality shows been so popular and Chopped! is a favorite here at Tiny and Gourmet Chefs! We like it so much we decided to base a whole week long camp on the concept. Our version has the added twist of focusing on different cuisines every day of camp. So, each day the Tiny and Gourmet Chef campers will be presented with a basket with 3 or 4 ingredients, which reflect these different cuisines—French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and All-American. Adventure Horse Camp for girls wanting immerse oneself into horsemanship, horse play, trail riding and horse care as well as many other fun activities. Every girl needs a sleepover and what better way to spend the night than at the farm. Tuesday and will be a day camp from 9am - 3pm. Thursday will start at 9am and stay overnight till Friday at 3pm. Please bring to camp: Riding boots, helmet (optional) Tuesday & Wednesday bring lunch, snacks, and drinks. Thursday: Bring overnight lunch we will provide dinner. Friday: We will provide breakfast and lunch. Bring snacks to share with your fellow campers, sleepovers are always better with evening snacks.
