Caldwell Academy - Ages 8-9 - Clash of the Heroes - Caldwell Academy
Clash of the Heroes Super heroes will go through trials, obstacles and traps using the Ev3 intelligent Brick from LEGO. Students are encouraged to brainstorm in order to find creative solutions to problems and then develop them through a process of selecting, building, testing and evaluations. Opti Race (Session 1 AM) - NESS
Prerequisite: Opti Green Fleet/instructor recommendation Students will work on more advanced boat handling techniques, including roll tacks and jibes, and will be introduced to more racing tactics, strategies and techniques. Sailors will learn what it takes to progress to the next level of Opti racing and will be expected to compete in local Opti regattas where Red, White and Blue fleets are formed by age. Having your own racing level Opti is an advantage at this stage and students are encouraged to bring their own boats. All students will be under the supervision of our race coach in class and at specific local regattas. Last summer we supported and coached our sailors in 7 local day-long Opti regattas and expect to support about the same number of events this year. Regatta fees are not included. 860-535-9362

Are you brand new to the game or coming back after taking years off? Get Golf Ready is the program for you. Get Golf Ready is a program created by the PGA of America. Through extensive research by the Boston Consulting Group, the PGA has created a proven method to get you on the course and playing! It is an affordable way to learn the game for beginners. Through a series of 5 lessons, taught by our Head Golf Professional Chase Wells, you will learn the basics on putting, chipping, sand shots, full swing, and how to keep pace. Rental sets are provided free of charge. Charleston National Golf Club is a uniquely beautiful Rees Jones design just north of the city of Charleston in suburban Mt. Pleasant. The course is carved along the intracoastal waterway, through natural wetlands and lagoons and through a pine and oak tree forest. Campers will learn to become Crime Scene Investigators during actual crime scene setups! Campers will learn how law enforcement professional solve crimes and meet real professional Crime Scene Investigators, K-9 Handlers and Forensic Pathologists (Sometimes the professionals are not able to come, due to their workload). Youll use the tools used in the field to collect evidence. Campers will learn how a crime is actually solved and learn how Biology, Chemistry and Physics play a major role in the investigation! Sample Projects: Crime scene Analysis, Blood Analysis; Fiber, Handwriting, Fingerprinting, and DNA Analysis! 214-530-5979

For Boys and Girls ages 4-12. This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups.
