Intermediates Ages 10+ Grasshoppers players are technically sound and tactically engage. Players are beginning to determine their style of play and how it matches up with other styles. This class will incorporate both singles and doubles strategy and play. sportsmanship, mental toughness, and Fitness. Point play, and fun games are taught on a 78 court using a 25-27" racquet. Kid's Summer Camp! Picasso Week! *Ages 7-13 - Sherman, TX
Campers, ages 7-13, will explore the artist Vincent Van Gogh all week through paintings and other related activities. They will paint a 16x20 painting each day M-Th, and work on a 24-36 self portrait through the week. The week will end with an art show Friday evening from 5-6pm. Every camper receives a camp t-shirt and daily snack. Other activities and crafts will be used to supplement daily lessons! Camp: Monday- Friday, 1pm-4pm Art show: Friday 5-6pm
Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run - Kearney, NE
Please join us for our Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run! Starting friday night we will have devos, activities and an evening ending campfire! Saturday morning we will have breakfast and a devo as we get ready for the Mud Run! The Mud Run starts at 10:30 AM with registration beginning at 9:45. The cost for the Mud Run is 35 and the cost for the mini youth rally is 10. Even if you dont want to participate in the Mud Run we invite you to come out to the mini youth rally and help us cheer on those that are! All proceeds go towards our general scholarship program! Youth Summer Camp - Hampden Sydney, VA
The HST Summer Youth Camp will run for 4 days from 9 AM – 12 PM. The camp focus is on baseball instruction and drills to improve the skill. The camp will begin with an introduction of the fundamentals of baseball. Each day will begin with throwing and catching drills. The session will be followed by position training. Each player will learn about each position on the field. Each day there will also be a specialty skill learned. These skills will be base running, sliding, and bunting. Each day ends with games. Robotics Adventures - College Prep Middle
Robotics Adventures – (5th Grade) Students will build a Robot using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will then learn how to program and manipulate the Robot with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club. MYGB will continue to offer its Quran program with the hope that this program will help our youth bond with the Quran through this experience Inshallah. By the end of each session of MYGB Quran program participants will have developed: *- greater appreciation of the words of Allah; *- better ability to read and recite the Quran; *- better understanding of some of the basic concepts addressed by the verses repeated in the short chapters. The program will also have a memorization component based on the youths abilities and readiness for memorization. All teachers and volunteers have tremendous experience working with youth in this particular field. Groups will be divided by age and then by competency level.
