Awareness, avoidance, and physical techniques are all key features of self-defense training. This camp for both girls and boys will focus on concepts and techniques that are practical, simple and applicable to todays world. Discussion on potential threats and negative situations will be included along with tips for avoiding danger and physical practice for self-protection. Our experienced instructor will facilitate the building of a safe, fun learning environment in this invaluable camp! My kids enjoyed this camp so much! It was fabulous and the staff was amazing. They were able to do the normal camp activities, but they were also able to do archery, paintball, mountaineering, hiking, campfire programs and they even took a 4 day trek into the Grand Canyon. 2nd Annual Fox Camp Youth Hunt - undefined, MS
Hosted by Jeremy and Joni McLarty. Saturday, November 5th. Eat at 12:00, draw for hunting spots at 1:30, hunt at 2:30 until dark (exact stopping time will be announced on day of hunt). All people who attend Beulah Church are invited to come eat and attend event, and any non-hunters are invited to hang out at the cabin during hunt. Open to any kids between the ages of 5 and 11 years-old who attend Beulah Church. All entries must have an adult who is over the age of 21 to accompany them on their hunt. All entries and accompanying adults must sign a release form on day of hunt. Limit one buck and one doe per kid. The hunt will be held at Jumper Lake this year, only a few miles from the church. Each participant is asked to bring their own ATV or 4-wheel drive truck if possible, if not then please let hosts know ahead of time so we can try to make arrangements for you. A NEW camp for girls who just want to have fun...building with LEGO! Taught by women engineers and scientists, this course will provide a supportive environment for girls to build engineer-designed projects such as boats, bridges, mazes, and motorized cars. Explore the creative possibilities of the LEGO building system with the guidance of experienced Play-Well instructors. The theme is up to the student! Students will be offered several ideas such as superheroes, aliens, magic, animals, and more. Then the children decide what they wish to create for the week. Students will use iPads to take animation photos of LEGO® pieces and edit video and sound.
