Flagler College Cheerleading Camp - Flagler College Gymnasium
The Flagler College Cheerleading Team is hosting their fifth camp for area elementary school children (grades K-5) interested in learning more about cheerleading and dance. When and where is the camp? Saturday, April 2nd, 2016; 8:00am - 5:00pm* Flagler College Gymnasium 12 Granada St. St. Augustine, Florida 32084 *Campers will put on a performance of their skills from 4:00 – 5:00pm. Please note this is not an overnight camp. How much is the camp? Pre-registration: $75 (registration via ACTIVE and payment via ACTIVE or check sent in to: Flagler College, Attn: Cheerleading, P.O. Box 1027 St. Augustine, FL 32085 by April 1st) Day-of registration: $100 Full payment is due for pre-registered and day-of registered campers on April 2nd, 2016 Who should attend the camp? Girls and boys, ages 5-12 years old (grades K - 5). What will campers learn? Age-appropriate fundamental cheerleading and dance skills including cheerleading motion technique, dances, jumps, tumbling and stunts will be presented in a safe environment. Purple Pride Flag Football Camp (6-8 Grade) - Piedmont High School
In a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment, campers will learn all components of football including dynamic stretches, offense, defense, and special teams. Campers will learn the fundamentals of throwing, catching, running, kicking, and punting, as well as speedwork and coordination (attributes that transfer to all sports). All campers will participate in lead-up games, positional and individual work, and team games, concluding with 7 on 7 games. The camp is designed to improve a child?s skill, regardless of skill level. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This program is designed for participants in 6th-8th grade. Please bring a snack and water bottle and wear athletic clothing and shoes. Medical waiver form will be sent by email before camp begins.
