Campers aged 5-6 have fun creating with their peers in age appropriate classes inspired by a current textile related exhibition in New York. Campers will try their hand at printing, felting, sewing, weaving, and dyeing with both natural + synthetic dyes, creating finished projects every week. Every day, campers venture on a field trip to the Textile Arts Center Manhattan to print, dye, sew, and on Weaving Wednesdays, campers work on looms to create their very own contemporary fabric. Each weekly session concludes on Friday afternoon with an Open House, where family and friends are invited to view projects on display! **Manhattans official Summer Camp Location will be confirmed early 2016. 718-369-0222

Teen MMA Summer Camp at GCBJJ - Grove City, OH
GCBJJ will be hosting an MMA camp for teens (age 13-17). This camp will cover all aspects of MMA including: Boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Conditioning. No experience necessary. Cost is $125 per teen. Only equipment they will need is a mouthpiece. We will provide all other equipment. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a couple extra changes of clothes. The participants can pack a lunch (we have a fridge and a microwave, or there are three pizza places, Arby's and Subway that are all within walking distance.

For rising 7th-12th graders. This is a 4-day robotics workshop where we will be learning how to build and program LEGO Mindstorms. SEATS ARE LIMITED. PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE AT THE REFERENCE DESK. Teens who register are expected to attend all four days of the workshop.

We are going to Paint the Dandelion Painting in their favorite color, then we will serve lunch (Pizza from Rock Rabbit and a caprisun) and then we will all Create a Terracotta Pot Wind Chime for Spring that is right around the corner! All Supplies and Lunch included! We will provide tshirts to protect clothing, but please dress in clothing that can get messy during class. UCALs Full Day Camps are similar to our Summer Camp days: three art classes in mixed-grade groups ( K-3 & 4-8) in a variety of media and genres, outdoor recess ( weather permitting) and indoor free play, with lunch and snack provided. Drop-off starts at 8 am, with the first art class at 9am. Options include a day until 3 pm or 6pm. Important Notice from UCAL: At the end of your registration process through the Active system, you will be offered a 30-day free trial of something called the Active Advantage program. You do NOT need to register with Active Advantage to receive member discounts for UCAL programs ,and we do not recommend signing up for it. Video Production Camp is a hands-on educational fun summer camp experience. Filmmakers will be challenged to create a short film during their week of camp while experiencing and shooting rowing, snorkeling, exploring shipwrecks using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), blacksmithing, hiking, and much more. This week-long program gives you the opportunity to build your filmmaking skills and knowledge from any experience level using your own camera or phone as well as our collection of GoPro cameras, DSLRs, and editing computers. Players will learn both individual skills and team concepts, starting with passing, catching and ground balls and advancing to shooting, dodging, and team concepts like defensive slides and offensive play. The purpose of this clinic is to introduce one of the fastest growing paddle sports in the U.S. This is a great opportunity to practice hand-eye coordination and to learn the proper technique of forehand, backhand, volleys and serves. Drills and practice games will be part of each clinic.

Pitchers and Catchers—a camp just for you! We will work on fundamental and advanced skills for each position while also working on developing strength and endurance.
