Many of us have gone to church camp when we were in the youth group, but once we moved on to adulthood, most of us found that there are few places for people of our age to go to where we can get quality time with God away from our busy lives. The Young Adult retreat was designed to deal with that dilemma. This course will focus on choral work and youll dive deeper into the art of listening as you build harmonies layered with solo moments. Song selection will come from around the globe as you discover your own creative singing voice. Youll be training like a professional through serious voice warm ups and voice manipulation while you sing through music genres such as the blues, rock, pop, gospel and vocal jazz. Youll work on stage presence and mic control as you figure out & break down what makes a great performance - which together youll create for a grand last day finale. All levels of singers, welcome! Students learn to design and code a mobile game App using Unity, a professional game development platform widely used by independent (indie) game developers and studios, and C#, an industry standard object-oriented programming language. Participants in this session will explore and learn sport and athletic performance methods including but not limited to strength, power, explosiveness, speed, quickness, agility, and endurance. Students will be taught multiple exercises, techniques, and routines that can be useful in developing a solid foundation in performance training. They will be exposed to isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic muscular contractions. All attendees will be tested on several different athletic performance measurements and given their results at the conclusion of the sessions, therefore providing areas in which they can improve in the future. Coach Joel Clem is Brebeuf Jesuits Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wellness Center Coordinator, and Physical Education faculty member. During his time as the strength and conditioning coach for Brebeufs athletic teams, he has trained State Championship volleyball, soccer, and hockey teams. He has also trained State Runner-Up football, baseball, soccer, and golf teams. Coach Clem has helped mold over 50 Brebeuf Jesuit student-athletes into collegiate athletes, including over a dozen competing at the Division I level. 3175247050.0
