Camp Hollywood - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Students will write a script, produce, direct, film, and star in a movie in our exciting 1 week camp! Beginning the first day campers will create a story, develop characters, design sets, even work on costumes and make-up. They will then get a crash course in camera work and filming techniques using digital video equipment. Putting all the skills together, students make a movie! Each participant receives a finished copy of the film. 817-421-2825

These 1 or 2 week sessions provide first time sailors aged 7-10 with the basics of sailing in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. Sailors will be using Prams, which are ideal for 2-3 sailors in 1 boat. Students will be taught the points of sail, basics of sailing upwind, downwind and between 2 points, along with sail trim, knot tying and general seamanship. Graduation takes place at the conclusion of each session, and parents are encouraged to come visit the Island and see their young sailors in action. 9524041645.0

What is the best way to cool off in the hot summer heat? WATER and we are going to have a lot of it! Children will get wet every day. Griffins will dive into the pool twice a week, splash at waterparks and soak a friend with balloons, super soakers and more! Camp Quest locations around North America provide a traditional sleepaway summer camp experience with a wide range of activities including sports, crafts, games, swimming, and campfires. In addition to our traditional summer camp activities, Camp Quest offers educational activities focused on critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and comparative religion. Camp Quest is open to all children and teenagers within the age range, but it is particularly geared towards building a community for children from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families.
