UNH Outdoor Jobs and Summer Camp Fair 2016 - Durham, NH
Want to work outside this summer? Are you an outdoor program looking for potential employees? Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season. Students will work in 3-D using paper, clay, plaster, cardboard, recyclables, and papier mache. Emphasis will be on students interests. This course includes a trip to the Yale Art Gallery. 2035624927 x14

Half Day AM 9:30am – 12:30pm Explore archaeology, geology and paleontology while we investigate stone-aged science. Jr. Explorers will learn about disappearing dinosaurs and ancient engineers.
