7th-9th grade girls: Innovators Hub - Saint Marys School
Students should choose one of the three programs as their primary focus but will interact with the other two programs throughout the week. 1. Learning To Lead: FINDING YOUR PASSION- focuses on skill building that will help girls grow as strong, confident leaders. Leaders-in-training work directly with women leaders from Saint Marys and the Raleigh community, both one-on-one and in group programming, to explore topics including leadership styles, public speaking, business etiquette, historical women leaders, navigating ethical dilemmas, resolving conflict, find your passion, and community engagement. At the end of the week, participants have new leadership skills, a better sense of themselves as leaders, and the confidence to be leaders in their own lives. 2. The Power of STEAM - offers girls the opportunity to develop new skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Drama Club/Shrek the Musical JR - 2nd Session - Annandale Village Gym
Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living. 2016 Junior Golf Camp #2 - Botetourt County Recreation Department
Botetourt County and The Golf Academy at Ashley have joined forces to offer summer Junior Golf Camps.
