After an less than desirable experience with a camp who shall remain nameless, we were a bit leery about sending our boys off to a new summer camp. However, when we discovered that Cedarbrook was centered around our same values and those values informed all the activities we took the leap of faith and glad that we did. 2nd Annual Kadesh Youth Camp Come and join our last hoorah for the summer. !! Held at CAMP BERKSHIRE in Wingdale, NY on SEPTEMBER 4-6, 2015. Our speaker is our very own PASTOR JON CLAYBURN AGE: 18+ ( under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) Cost is $30 PER PERSON, which includes the stay, Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast, fun activities, and more summer memories. PAYMENT IS DUE by SEPTEMBER 1, payable to DANBURY-BETHEL SDA CHURCH. There is NO FOOD served on Friday evening, so we do encourage you to have something to eat beforehand or bring snacks to munch on. As winter turns to spring, animals wake up, return home, and build nests. And we can help them by protecting and preserving natural resources. Come and explore different animal habitats—from way up in the treetops to deep underground. Live animal presentations are included! 202-724-8950

Campers will discover loads of horribly fantastic experiments in Camp Jr. Grossologist! Campers learn about the science of "gross things" through our exciting chemistry and biology experiments! This is science with the squishy bits left in it! Ew! Gross! Blegh! Sample Projects: Bulging Bag of Brains! Simulated Snot! Baby Diaper Dissection! Owl Pellet Dissection! and much, much more! Campers will have the opportunity to participate in many team building activities, individual skill development, as well as compete in games against campers of their age group. The focus of our Campbell camps is always on fundamentals, teamwork, and enjoying the game of basketball. Each day consists of stretching and warm-ups, drills and skills, fun competitions, and a strategy session all leading up to a game. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equipment needed for this camp: soccer ball and shin guards. James and the Giant Peach Musical - Villa Academy
Join Shea Salyer and Jacob Lucero for this years 3rd-8th grade musical, Roald Dahls James and the Giant Peach, Jr. This musical world-premiered at Seattle Childrens Theater in 2013. Auditions for lead roles will be Wednesday, January 13th from 2:15pm-6:00pm with rehearsals beginning Tuesday, January 26th, 3:00-5:30pm. Rehearsals are every Tuesday and Thursday that school is in session with performances from May 4-7th, 2016. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion which results in a tremendous peach - and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities, but after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building.
